No. 15

Some pretty good wear and tear and knobs that were too small…but over all good bones.
No. 15 {before}

Now, she is perfect and blue and scratched and stained and dented and beautiful. I mean, I warned you about this blue and all of it’s glory. Totally appropriate that No. 15 was {re}born in April.
No. 15

I found some extra large wooden knobs at our REstore and painted them to fit the piece. Never done that before. A whole new world…

No. 15

A little distressing and a beautiful wax finish. Also a first. Thanks Barb at Knack for tips on waxing! Love her!

    I’ve just recently discovered your blog and I’m addicted :).

    I love the way you transform your pieces and the comfortable style they all have. Any chance you could do a post sometime on aging furniture? I’ve tried sanding around the edges and it just doesn’t do it!

    Thanks!

    • Hi Ramona, Yay! Thanks for visiting! That is a great idea and I will be happy to do a post on aging furniture. There are lots of different ways of doing it, but I will be sure to take some pics during my next piece and hopefully post something soon!
